Te Whare Mauri Ora Wellbeing Model

Across our Ngā Mātāpuna o te Waihora Kāhui Ako we are introducing Wiremu Gray’s Wellbeing model Te Whare Mauri Ora.  Starting in Week 4 of Term 3 2021 we will be introducing this model to our students in our Monday School Assemblies.  Having the same model across the ECE’s and schools will allow to develop a common wellbeing language with our students and their whānau.  We believe we have a number of programmes, initiatives and classroom sessions that slide into the Te Whare Mauri Ora model.  As we start introducing the pillars to our children we will share these in our school newsletter as a way of introducing the model to our whānau as well.
