ONLINE SAFETY HUB + PARENT SAFETY APP (QUSTODIO)
Digital Safety is very important to us at Dunsandel School. To assist, we have partnered with an organisation called Linewize who ensure the highest possible level of safety for our students’ school accounts and devices by providing filtering and safeguarding. Alerts for risky or harmful online behaviour will be sent to senior staff and at times parents may be contacted.
Part of this partnership with Linewize includes a dedicated online safety hub website with parent resources for all parents. Delivering insights by world leading safety experts, this central hub helps parents build knowledge to take an active role in your child’s online safety.
Through the Online Safety Hub you now have access to resources, information and free tools to help keep children safe online when using their devices at home.
The hub includes special access to the world leading Qustodio parent safety app used by over 8 million parents. Families receive free access to the Qustodio Parent App, a world-leading tool used by millions to manage home device usage. The app allows parents to filter web content, block specific games, and set healthy boundaries by pausing internet access during mealtimes or bedtimes. Compatible with iOS, Android, Chromebook, and Windows, Qustodio enables parents to receive instant search alerts and manage screen time across multiple devices.
